Benson Amps Redland 35 Reverb, Miss Lee/Black

The Redland Reverb Combo is a unique design that is aimed directly at the extended American palette of tones. It has an entirely unique tone stack that inspiration from sounds as varied as Dumble and Peavey. We sought to bring the touch sensitivity and FEEL of the Benson brand to preamp types that are cleaner in essence but can sound big and fat and juicy when you dig in.

The Volume, Wattage and Reverb controls are pretty standard Benson fare. The Bass and Treble controls are where the rubber meets the road so to speak. Bass moves a massive mid scoop up and down the frequency spec- trum...starting at 100HZ and ending around 1K. This essentially cuts bass at the lowest point, and ends up cutting into the treble at the highest point.

It might seem strange, and it is, but the results need to be experienced to be properly understood as being very versatile in tandem with the special treble control....like more versatile than your average Treble-Middle-Bass tone stack...with this you can pick the frequency points to feature and conversely what to cut. It just ends up sounding very big.
