This pre-owned Martin D-45S Authentic 1936 has just arrived back in the shop for consignment! The D-45S pays faithful homage to a 1936 custom D-45 now housed in Martin's museum. While the style and trim are likely familiar to fans of the model, the "S" features a wider lower bout and produces even more power than a standard dreadnought body. This 2012 example remains in excellent condition, with no noticeable signs of playwear or handling. The structure is a 100% sound, and the neck set is very healthy, exhibiting plenty of exposed saddle should the next owner desire lower action. The sound is rich and haunting, with the inimitable power, focus and complexity only a great Brazilian Rosewood dreadnought provides. Priced with its original hard case.
