The voice of this guitar is supremely warm; and the Mahogany body keeps it clear.
Our latest creation from the Martin Custom Shop pairs Engelmann Spruce and Mahogany: it's an OM ideally suited to players with a light touch who want versatility and warmth of tone. Martin made a batch of 00-sized guitars with these Engelmann tops a while back. They were lovely sounding, and inspired us to leap one step further into an OM, which gives fingerstyle players the flexibility to use alternate tunings without sacrificing definition. The voice of this guitar is supremely warm; and the Mahogany body keeps it clear. Engelmann, the softest of the Spruces, provides an instant response without compromising projection. The guitar is handsomely dressed up with Maple binding and Martin's "Chris Hillman" Sunburst -- essentially, a darker, less-orange take on a vintage Ambertone. We think fingerstyle players in search of a do-it-all guitar with a slightly looser feel and classic looks will love this one. Priced with 3-ply hard case from Martin.

Every instrument is thoroughly checked and set up before shipping fully insured via UPS with tracking to your door. We reuse boxes and materials to cut waste when they meet our protection standard.
Inspect it, play it, and if it isn't right, contact us within 48 hours of delivery to arrange a return or one-time exchange. Returns are subject to a 5% restocking fee, and the buyer covers shipping both ways.
