Product information

The 12-fret design affords generous warmth and "roundness" of sound relative to a 14-fret guitar.

Our latest Martin Custom Shop design is this 12-fret 000, featuring a Venetian Cutaway on top of classic style-18 appointments. The top is our house-favorite Italian Spruce, which we love for its stiffness, clarity, and colorful tone. The 12-fret design affords generous warmth and "roundness" of sound relative to a 14-fret guitar: fingerstyle players who want the fretboard access of an OM alongside a fatter, bolder voice than they're used to will absolutely love this instrument! Other appointments include Rosewood body binding and an upgraded 5-ply hardshell case. If you've wanted to add a 12-fret guitar to your arsenal, but you don't want to sacrifice any fingerboard real estate, we think you'll love this guitar!
