Product information

With exceptional koa and made in only one year, the D-25K is a rare offering indeed.

The D-25 K2 was an unusual dreadnought offering from Martin Guitar. Made for only one year, 1980 in a relatively small number, it's a fairly rare model. The koa is of exceptional quality and would probably find itself on much higher end models today. At $2700, it's real bargain. The guitar is built on the period D-18 platform, with traditional dovetail neck joint, non-scalloped x-bracing, large rosewood bridge plate, nitro finish and non-adjustable truss rod.

The all koa construction provides a bright, even tone that works well for light to medium strumming and fingertyle. Bluegrass guitar, this is not!

The condition is quite fine with only a couple of minor dings on the top. TME performed a recent neck reset so the action is dialed in nicely.
