Product information

This particular instrument is a marquee example of the model, and was kept in beautiful shape by the gentleman who treasured it these last 60 years.

This 1963 Martin 00-18 was recently acquired from its local, original owner. It's a perfect guitar for anyone who was inspired by our 'Guide to Buying Your First Vintage Martin' -- it was produced in the old North St. factory, it's in great condition, and it sounds wonderful. A 14-fret 00-18 is versatile enough to stand up to old-time rhythm playing and produce sweet, shimmery tone when fingerpicked. This particular instrument is a marquee example of the model, and was kept in beautiful shape by the gentleman who treasured it these last 60 years.

The guitar has had a recent neck reset, which resulted in two small back cracks near the neck heel. These have been touched up by our shop, and remain structurally stable. The guitar retains all its original structural components (except for a new saddle); and it sports a beautiful, full-height Brazilian Rosewood bridge. Great looks and playability all around! Priced with 1960's chipboard case.
