Product information

Custom, Adirondack spruce-topped version of this perennially popular F mandolin with a big, super-pleasing bluegrass chop.

Why We Love This

Featuring a slightly enlarged F5 body, the Big Mon is a particularly responsive, airy and open sounding instrument. With a touch more volume and bass response than Northfield's standard F5, this master model mandolin has plenty of power and woody low end.

This particular Big Mon features an Adirondack spruce top for even more definition and headroom, paired with a lovely flamed maple back and handsome dark sunburst finish. We love the aesthetic and, more importantly, the sound.
