Product information

1973 Fender Stratocaster in original Sunburst finish just into the shop!

Collectors - feel free to skip right over this one. This is the guitar you take straight to the gig. While the body and neck are original, genuine pieces with their original finishes, and some of the hardware and wiring is original, this guitar has seen its fair share of changes and modifications throughout the years. What it represents now, though, is one of those guitars that pro and working players go crazy for. It's got great feel, amazing tone, and the perfect look of a well-loved vintage guitar.

The neck was refretted long ago with jumbo wire, and the original tuners replaced with Schallers. A great sounding set of Bare Knuckle grey bottom strat pickups are loaded in the guitar, while the original volume and tone pots remain, showing codes of the 10th week of '73. The switch has been upgraded to a 5-way, and the pickguard is a modern 3-ply replacement. The knobs are period correct, and the bridge and saddles appear original to the body.

This is just a great player Strat with all the right stuff going on. Resonant, punchy, and responsive with a classic look. It's paired with a period-correct Fender hardshell as well.
