Built by lauded Gretsch master-luthier, Stephen Stern, this 2018 G6128CS Duo Jet feels quite a bit like a vintage Gretsch in all the best ways. Not only did Stephen nail the look with incredibly tasteful aging, he absolutely nailed the feel that old Gretsch guitars have.

There's a certain feel to a Grestch - anyone who's played a great vintage one will probably get what we're trying to say...It's hard to describe, but they aren't super buttoned up, overly meticulous, or sterile. They're full of soul, character, killer tones, and are a little funky. Simply put, this guitar doesn't feel like a modern recreation to us - it has that vintage soul nailed.

Given the range of players that are famous for slinging a Duo Jet - George Harrison, Billy Zoom, Gene Vincent, Neil Finn - you can play '50s-era clean or crank the Marshall and be equally pleased with the results. In our guitar worldview, electric guitars don't get much cooler than a Gretsch. We're sold!

This is a great example with just a few dings and nicks to separate it from a factory aged guitar. The most notable wear is a ding/chip on the back of the neck around the 7-8th fret on the treble side. The original Duncan Dynasonics were replaced with TV Jones Dynasonics, but are included with the sale.
