Product information

A rare and beautiful treasure of a Collings model!

This instrument belongs to the limited run of 0002H Traditional models built by Collings in conjunction with guitarist Joe Henry and luthier, Mark Stutman. The 12-fret 000 is not currently part of Collings' "Traditional" lineup and this dreamt-up take on the model features a short scale and increased body depth.

The takeaway? We think this is about as warm-sounding a Collings as you can currently find. And its beautifully quick response and dashing good looks don't hurt either. Whenever we have the chance to play one of these we can't help but dream of a day when Collings makes a 000 12-fret Traditional model more widely available!

It remains in very good condition but does show some light scratching and surface wear from being played. Most notably, there are some long thin scratches on the top that can be seen when tilting the guitar in the light just so. It continues to play beautifully and remains structurally sound in all the important ways. Priced with its original hard shell case.
