Product information

This superbly built R model bridges vintage and modern tones, from this leading light of resophonic guitar. Love that burst to boot!

Beard's Legacy R has quietly become one of our favorite models from the famed resonator maker. It is a guitar with deep appeal in both round neck and square neck configurations. The Legacy R roundneck guitar strikes a great sonic balance, with big, forward midrange power, a sense of warm fullness, and classic, rich highs.

For many, this is the perfect resophonic sound: wonderful in solo settings, with plenty of projecting power for the jam or stage.

This Legacy R sports Beard's "Phoenix burst" and, boy, you couldn't ask for a more picture-perfect sunburst on mahogany. Between the looks and the tone, they nailed it with this one. Kudos to Paul and his team!
