Product information

Rare chance to grab a gently pre-owned banjo made by luthier, Matthew Arcara. This instrument, a 12" banjo featuring a Dobson tone ring and all-Walnut construction, is powerful, clear, and midrange forward (think of an almost dreadnought-guitar quality on the lower strings). It's punchy and responsive no matter what your style, with the well-defined, thick sound that remains clear in an old-time stringband.

Our shop has inspected the banjo, and freshened its setup. It was only played sparingly by its original owner, and remains in very good used condition. Its original hide head has been replaced with a Renaissance head; but it is otherwise unmodified. Priced with its original hard case.
