Electric Spotlight

Meet The Builders

Laurent Brondel

West Paris, ME

Laurent Brondel is a luthier of remarkable skill, as evidenced by his ability to make phenomenal acoustic - and - electric guitars. He also just happens to be one hell of a player, too. If you're into vintage guitars in any way, don't sleep on Laurent's electrics - their feel, playability, and tones will truly blow you away.

Nic Delisle | Island Instruments

Montreal, Quebec Canada

"My designs are largely inspired by, and based off of the department store catalog instruments I consider to represent a peak of creativity in the electric guitar industry. I’m constantly trying to improve and evolve those designs for contemporary needs and standards, acknowledging and respecting the past while looking toward the future." ~ Nic Delisle

Saul Koll | Koll Guitar Co.

Portland, OR

Portland, OR-based builder, Saul Koll, is what we'd call a "luthier's luthier". Never content to make the same instrument twice, each guitar is a work of art based around his original "Glide" body shape.

The ultra-versatile Glide shape can cover so much ground, from black tie affairs to beer-fulled punk rock, which is exactly why we love Saul's work. Versatile, unique, and always musical.

Tim Bram

Pasadena, MD

Tim Bram's craftsmanship is nothing short of extraordinary, blending classic archtop construction and tones with the sleek (read: comfortable), familiar profile of the Telecaster.

His Tribute Archtop epitomizes this marriage, offering a smaller, more user-friendly guitar that still delivers the rich, classic tone you expect from a full-sized archtop.

Jeff Mark Leavitt | Tone Ranger Guitars

Los Angeles, CA

Hand-built in Los Angeles by Jeff Mark Leavitt, Tone Ranger guitars are steeped in the spirit of the American West. Crafted from sustainably sourced urban trees - once rooted in LA neighborhoods and now reborn as tonewoods - each instrument carries a sense of place, story, and sustainability.

With boutique-grade components and premium pickups, these guitars feel alive in your hands: resonant tools of expression that blend exceptional tone with a deep reverence for the land they come from.
