From punk to funk, the Double Barrel is your ride-or-die for wherever the musical trail leads.

We first crossed paths with Jeff Mark Leavitt and his Tone Ranger Guitars at the 2025 Fretboard Summit in Chicago, and were instantly drawn in by the concept, the quality, and the undeniable vibe of his instruments. There’s something about these guitars that’s hard to define - like a hazy echo of American culture past that feels strangely familiar the moment you pick one up.
That feeling is reflected in every detail, from the headstock and logo to the thoughtful lines and pearl dot inlyas, but it runs deeper than aesthetics. Jeff’s reverence for the American West and his playful, offbeat approach to guitar-making are built into every curve and chord. Sit down with one, and it clicks: these are instruments made with purpose, personality, and a whole lot of heart. And they sound every bit as good as they look.
Enter the Double Barrel. With a Bigsby B5 for lush shimmer and 24 frets when you need just a bit more, this double-cut takes the familiar student model design and gives it a graduate-level upgrade. Striking in look and endlessly fun to play, it punches well above its weight, delivering snarl, sparkle, and soul in equal measure.
