First introduced in 2007 as the stock set in Ron Thorn’s Junior-Ninety guitars, the Staple Top GT-90s quickly earned a reputation as a smarter take on the classic P-90.
Built around AlNiCo 5 rectangular staple poles, the GT-90s deliver a level of clarity and definition you won’t find in typical bar-magnet P-90s. The neck model is open, articulate, and balanced - yet powerful enough to pair seamlessly with the GT-90 bridge or even a humbucker.Each set is hand-wound by Ron Thorn. Non-adjustable poles ensure a perfect fit into any P-90 routed body.
