Hand-wound by Ron Thorn himself, these pickups bring a refined twist to the classic P-90 formula.
Ron Thorn first introduced his Staple Top GT-90 back in 2007 as the stock pickup for his Junior-Ninety model, and they’ve been a favorite ever since.Built around AlNiCo 5 rectangular staple poles, the GT-90s deliver a level of clarity and definition you won’t find in typical bar-magnet P-90s. The neck model is open, articulate, and balanced - yet powerful enough to pair seamlessly with the GT-90 bridge or even a humbucker.
Non-adjustable poles mean they’ll drop right into any P-90 route, and they’re available with black or cream covers.
