1960 Silvertone Model 1423 Jupiter just in from the original owner!

In our humble opinion, these Jupiter models are some of the very best electrics that Harmony/Silvertone ever put out. The classic Black Sparkle finish, bound body and neck, and large block fingerboard inlays paired with some truly incredible sounding original Dearmond Gold Foil pickups - it's just the ultimate mid-century catalog guitar. This guitar was brought into the shop by its original owner who'd had it since childhood. It was played sparingly, and it shows. Without so much as a screw turned until it came in, it had held up remarkably well. The electronics work great, and as mentioned prior, these particular Dearmonds have some amazing output and tone. The original frets are also in excellent condition, and with a properly working truss rod and good bridge height, it took to a fresh setup with ease.

It's been many years since we've had one of these guitars in stock, and probably many years before that when the secret got out on these. If you've longed for a great sounding and looking Stratotone style electric, we challenge you to find a better example!
