Romero Long Neck 11" Custom (USED)
A rare long neck Banjo from renowned builder Jason Romero.
Jason Romero has been one of the most in-demand banjo builders for many years now. His waitlist opens once a year, on new year's day, and the wait for one of his instruments frequently spans the better part of a decade. Each instrument is uniquely appointed and customized, never to be repeated again. Very few Romero banjos find their way to our shop, but it's a treat when they do, as they always turn heads. This ultra-rare long neck Romero has a clear and powerful voice with plenty of nuance and character, and sounds great with and without a capo. The inlay details by Pharis are gorgeous, and the burled maple peghead accents are quite striking. The neck is very comfortable and easy to play, and the instrument sets up exactly right. This is an expertly executed long neck banjo at a level we rarely see.
