Product information

We're happy to offer this new Pre-War Dreadnought, their riff on the classic style-18 Mahogany powerhouse. They don't often have available guitars, so we were pleasantly surprised when this one presented itself. It's a "Level 1" distressed finish, meaning you'll see the minimal amount of finish checking. Its notable features are a slimmer, 1 11/16" nut width and "speed neck" treatment (the finish on the back of the neck has been sanded down to a very smooth, broken-in feel). This is a great-sounding, punchy guitar with loads of dry power on tap ~ a no-brainer for a flatpicker interested in a bluegrass guitar with the narrower spacing of a 1940's D-18.

This is a brand-new guitar, warrantied by the manufacturer. Our shop has inspected it and adjusted the setup for ideal playability under tension of medium gauge strings. Priced with a hardshell case from "The Original Case Company."
