Product information

North Carolina's Pisgah Banjo Company is well-known for making incredibly high quality instruments using native Appalachian hardwoods - you'd be hard-pressed to find a better alternative in the modestly priced handcrafted banjo market.

Why We Love This

The "Laydie" is the Pisgah Banjo Company's tribute to Vega's iconic Whyte Laydie banjo from the turn of the century. Features include a scalloped "electric" tone ring, made by hand and molded with exacting specifications from an original. The Pisgah Laydie presents amazing volume, punchiness, and great responsiveness. Staying true to its ancestor, this model is left in the "Whyte" with no stain. Priced with high quality gig bag.
