The result is a guitar with timeless aesthetics but modern playability and versatility. The tones reminds us a ton of an early 50s Telecaster - airy, open, super chimey - crossed with, say, a Filter'tron loaded Gretsch. Chime for days, basically. It's cool to have these tones in a modern, easy playing guitar because you end up playing things that you'd never play on an old student model Harmony. Ie, they just don't wanna go there with you and require you to alter your playing a bit to match its vibe/feel. Not so here. This guitar is as easy to play as a great Strat.

Comfort-wise, the Mirus J is just as impressive: acoustically loud and responsive, with a broken-in medium C neck (.83" at the first fret) and a body shape that makes the long-scale feel like a short-scale.
