This 1979 Martin M-36 is just into the shop on trade! 1970's "M" models can be some of the most rewarding Martins from the period: the 0000 body size lends itself well to fingerpicking and flatpicking, producing a surprising amount of boom and depth in a smaller-than-dreadnought package. This particular guitar is a great-sounding example of the model, prompting several TME staff members to wonder about adding it to their personal quiver!
We rate this guitar in very good overall condition for its age. The neck has been reset in our shop, one top crack has been glued, and a new heel cap has been installed (the original was cracked from a previously installed strap button installation). Our techs have set the guitar up anew, and it plays easily up and down the neck. An LR Baggs Anthem pickup has been installed. Priced with hardshell case.
