This 1967 Martin D-35 comes to us from the estate of a longtime client: it was his first proper guitar, and we're honored to host it on consignment. It was purchased at McCabe's, in Santa Monica, CA, when new, and played lovingly all these years. It's a great-sounding guitar, full of colorful overtones, and possessed of the warm, boomy power associated with a Brazilian Rosewood D-35. If you're in the market for a first vintage Martin, we recommend this one with special regards. The guitar is very clean for its age, and has had very little in the way of service. A clean neck reset has been performed at some point in the past; and the original bridge has been replaced. A strap button was installed in the neck heel long ago, at the original owner's request. The price includes a contemporary Martin 5-ply hardshell case. On consignment; shipping calculated at checkout.
Condition: Vintage. Fully inspected and set up by TME staff before it ships or leaves the showroom.
