This Martin Custom Shop D-28 1937 has just come into the shop on trade! Also known as a "Custom Authentic" -- these are the guitars which incorporate the features of Martin's D-28 Authentic into a more affordable instrument built with Indian Rosewood back & sides, and adjustable truss rod, and a non-torrefied top. This is an excellent-sounding example of the model, which sports some beautiful, dark-toned rosewood to boot!

This guitar has been its previous owner's main instrument for the last three years. Translation? It's been played, and shows the corresponding wear one would expect. Although they're hard to photograph, there are significant pick marks on the top (mostly viewable only when angled in reflected light). The setup remains excellent; and our shop has given it a clean bill of health. Priced with its original hardshell case.
