TME is happy to offer this 1967 Martin D-28, which was recently acquired from its original owner. This instrument has been played! It's been a gigging guitar for as long as it's worn strings; and consequently, it carries the expected warmth, openness, and dryness of sound that defines the mystique of vintage guitars. Sporting some absolutely gorgeous Brazilian Rosewood, and built before the transition away from smaller maple bridge plates, this guitar is about as attractive as late 60's D-28s get.

This D-28 remains in very good overall condition, showing only the expected lacquer checking and finish wear consistent with 60 years of use. No original structural components have been replaced. A strap button has been installed, as has a K&K Pure Mini pickup with Vintage Jack. Luthier Pat DiBurro reset the neck and smoothed the fingerboard edges over in 2008; and the setup remains excellent. Overall, a beautiful sounding, well-seasoned, Brazilian-Rosewood D-28 that'd make a great choice for anyone in search of their first vintage Martin. Priced with its original hard case.
