Product information

We've recently acquired this beautiful 1963 Martin 00-21NY from its original owner. It's a great candidate for anyone interested in their first bona fide vintage Martin: made at the original North St. factory, hide glue construction, small maple bridge plate, and gorgeous Brazilian Rosewood. The voice is wide open and warm, with woody clarity and bell-like overtones aplenty. This is a 12-fret 00 that takes a flatpick beautifully in addition to its conventional use as a fingerstyle guitar.

This guitar remains in very good vintage condition. Classical tap plates had been installed at some point in the past; and there's light overspray in the spots where they had lived. The body and neck are remarkably free of any other notable blemishes. Our shop has just reset the neck. Price includes the guitar's wonderful original hard case!
