This 1944 Martin 00-17 is a sensational sounding example of the model, thanks to its ebony neck reinforcement and scalloped bracing. The nut, saddle, and bridge pins have been replaced; and all the work is very cleanly executed. Otherwise, the guitar is entirely original and very clean, with no cracks and minimal playwear. Fans of the dry, woody voice inherent in all-Mahogany Martins will adore this guitar; and its super-comfortable soft V neck carve, low action, and thick response make it a joy to play.
