This 1965 Martin 00-16C is just into the shop on trade! Martin's bona fide classical guitar, hence the "C" in its nomenclature, still holds more value for folk guitarists than it does for serious students of classical music. Its Mahogany back & sides and Spruce top yield a beautifully clear and balanced tone that's ideally suited for vocal accompaniment, especially amongst harmony singers in a small ensemble. Condition: the structure of this guitar is all-original, but shows its age in the form of significant playwear scattered across its surfaces. There are no body cracks, but our shop has glued and repaired one hairline headstock crack near the treble-side tuner channel (see photos). The instrument is stable, and plays easily up and down the fretboard. Priced with an aftermarket hardshell case.
Condition: Vintage. Fully inspected and set up by TME staff before it ships or leaves the showroom.
