This gorgeous little 1965 Martin 0-18 was acquired from the original owner, who bought it new from our friends at the Old Town School of Folk Music in Chicago. It's a light, lively guitar, with a completely charming, woody & bright voice. A beautifully articulate fingerstyle guitar, it takes surprisingly well to a flatpicked attack as well. This guitar represents as perfect an entry point into the world of vintage Martins as you'll ever find!

This guitar's original nut had been replaced some time ago, but all other structural components are original. Our shop performed the first real work the guitar has ever seen, resetting the neck, refretting the fingerboard, and regluing the bridge. The guitar now plays beautifully, and shouldn't need work for a long time. Priced with the owner's former case, which is meant for a dreadnought.
