Heiden Heritage F (2018)
Used
This Heritage-series F mandolin from revered builder Michael Heiden stands as an outstanding example of his late-style work!
What a thrilling mandolin! As with other Heidens we have had the pleasure of hearing, the tone is harmonically rich, the instrument responding with a pleasing immediacy. A varied attack will reveal subtle varieties in color and dynamic range. Fantastic projection when you dig in, but never at the cost of warmth, dark low end fullness and character. This mandolin offers a deeply engaging and wholly satisfying playing experience that will translate across a wide range of musical styles and applications.
