All that said, this guitar is incredibly fun to play. With its short 24 3/4" scale, it feels compact and slinky under the left hand; and it rewards a relaxed flatpicked attack with warm, smooth sound that falls somewhere between archtop and flattop voice. Single notes ring out clearly all the way up the fingerboard; and chords have a full, balanced shimmer that invites a certain kind of balladeerism (doesn't the whole guitar?). This guitar's overall condition is excellent, with no major repair work and a solid structure. The bridge is non-original; as is the pin harness attached to the tailpiece.
