This great-sounding 1953 Gibson Southern Jumbo is just in for consignment. We know this guitar well, having sold it once before to a good friend of the shop (he recognized its power and warmth right away, and knew it'd make a great recording guitar). It's just what every vintage guitar hunter would hope to find: the structure is original, with just the right amount of play wear to let you know it hasn't been sitting dormant. There are two repaired back cracks, with accompanying minor finish touch up; and we've just installed a new nut. It's also been refretted. Otherwise, it's all there, with great looks, huge volume, and the raw, chunky horsepower that has made a Gibson jumbo the rhythm guitar of choice for nearly everyone in the singer-songwriter niche. Priced with TKL hard case.
