It's not every day you come across a Les Paul Custom that looks as good as this gently used '68 Custom. Boasting a rarer Root Beer finish, this 2006 variant has the looks to match the sound.
This particular guitar has a highly figured quilt maple top with an incredible amount of depth, and a richness to the finish that is just bursting through the bound top. The original gold hardware is clean and elegant, perfectly tying into the adorned block inlay neck and LPC "split diamond" headstock veneer.
Coming in at just over 9 lbs, this Les Paul feels incredibly well-balanced for this model. The comfortable weight and well-executed neck carve lend to an ease of playability found only in some of the best examples of these classic single-cut beauties. It's outfitted with a pair of original '57 Classic humbuckers, which offer up great PAF vibe that deliver tone that's just as great clean as it is overdriven.
Condition: Excellent +, with only very minor signs of play wear and general handling of the instrument (a few small indentations adjacent to the input jack). The frets are in excellent condition with virtually no wear.
