This c. 1936 Gibson L-00 is as nice as player-grade examples of the model get! And really, that description almost doesn't apply. The guitar has one repaired top crack, which is noticeable, but the rest of its structure is in lovely condition. It's an especially nice flatpicker's L-00, with a throaty, open growl, and a snappy high end -- even with low action. If you've had a 30's L-00 in your sights, and you've been waiting for a great-sounding one with some minor blemishes to surface, give us a call before this one's gone! We'd call this guitar's overall vintage condition "very good." The aforementioned repaired top crack has localized finish touch up; and it's stable as can be. The saddle and tuner buttons have been replaced. The neck has likely been reset once in the past -- the work is clean, and the angle remains healthy. Price includes a Cedar Creek hardshell case (sporting its fair share of stickers).
