This 1964 Gibson J-50 was acquired from the original owner, who hadn't been playing it for many years. It's an excellent-sounding example of the model, sporting the desirable 1 11/16" nut width and a slim, comfortable neck that makes it an easy-playing guitar perfect for long recording sessions. The voice is bright and powerful all at once, with an impressively punchy low end.

While the guitar isn't a case queen, it remains in very good overall condition for its age. The expected lacquer checking and modest signs of playwear are present across its surfaces. The original bridge and pickguard have been replaced. Our shop has set it up anew; and it requires no further work at this time. Priced with a modern hardshell case.
