Want vibe? Mojo? Authenticity? Fewer regurgitated adjectives? Pick up this 1926 J-45 and start playing it! This guitar should only be owned by those who value tone and musicality above all else ~ those who see cracks, finish wear, replaced parts, and think, "No big deal. How does it SOUND?" It sounds terrific. Bold, dry, woody and crisp, it's the consummate rhythm guitar you've heard on a thousand records, with an intimacy that makes it ideally suited to a singer-songwriter who doesn't need to belt to be heard.

Condition: fair and functional. There are plugged holes in the top and treble side from an old pickup installation. The pickguard, bridge, and tuners have all been replaced. The finish shows extensive crazing and playwear, with areas of it work down to bare wood in the upper bout, treble side (see our photos). Priced with hardshell case.
