The HG-00 was the 12-fret Hawaiian version of the more popular L-00. Same body shape but with a wider, 1 7/8" nut width, and no truss rod in the neck. If you're looking for a great bluesy or ragtime tone in an older small-bodied guitar, this HG-00 is ready to go. The history on this one is interesting as it came from TME back in the late 1970's, sadly before repair techs recognized the draw backs of replacing bridges rather than preserving them! But the slightly oversized bridge on this one doesn't seem to hold back the tone much. It still has that woody, round treble players covet. Makes a great slide guitar as well! Priced w/non-original hard case.
