1979 Gibson ES-347TD in original Ebony finish just in!
Gibson introduced this model in the late 70s, combining foundational elements of the ES-335 with a fancier, more appointed aesthetic akin to the ES-345 and ES-355 models.
The combination of laminated Maple body, Maple center block, and 3-piece Maple neck with Ebony fingerboard offers up a bright and punchy voice, and coupled with the original Series 7 humbuckers deliver a healthy amount of output. A dedicated coil tap switch on the treble side horn splits the humbuckers for some single coil action - great for leaner funk or R&B tones!
This guitar features almost all of its original hardware save for the strap buttons. All of the gold plating remains mostly intact with some light oxidation and corrosion on the pickup covers. The original black speed knobs have been swapped for the amber variant, and the pickguard is original.
The neck profile has a very comfortable slim to medium C/D carve. Playability is great, and the original medium jumbo frets have plenty of life left in them.
The guitar has remained in quite clean condition, with some light scratches, scuffs, and pick wear throughout. It's paired with its original Gibson hardshell case with red lining, also in great shape.
