A powerful, all-in-one reactive load box with analog cab emulation and IR flexibility - perfect for silent practice, direct recording, and stage-ready tone without the cab.

The Fryette Power Load IR is the tool you want when you love your amp but need to record quietly, practice silently, or play live without hauling a cab. It’s a tunable reactive load paired with both an analog cab + mic emulation and a digital IR loader, giving you the best of both worlds for zero-latency feel and realistic, studio-grade cabinet tone. Use one or the other - or both at the same time - and get your amp’s full character straight into a recording interface, headphones, or FOH.

The analog cab sim side offers a rich, dynamic tone that feels like a mic’d cab without any noticeable delay. The IR side now includes memory for 16 cabinet IRs - 8 preloaded Fryette and Sound City favorites, and 8 slots for your own. Need to switch off cab sims entirely? Easy. Plug in an external IR loader and go.

You also get a high-quality stereo headphone amp, a dedicated stereo effects loop (for adding ambient pedals to your headphone mix), and a stereo aux input for jamming along to backing tracks. Whether you're practicing, tracking, or re-amping, the Power Load IR keeps you inspired and in control.

For live gigs, run it between your amp and cab, and send a perfectly dialed-in, cab-simmed DI straight to the board, no mic necessary. Or ditch the cab entirely and go fully silent on stage.
