Some of Fender's finest Custom Shop creations are born out of original examples just like this '75 Tele Custom.
You'll find enough Keith Richards and Rich Robinson fans among us here at the shop to understand that we're totally smitten by this recent arrival.
This 1975 Fender Telecaster Custom looks like it's seen it all, with decades of natural wear to prove it. Generally, when we see a guitar like this, it's chockfull of songs and sounds. And it certainly does not disappoint.
The combination of the original Wide Range humbucker and the traditional single coil bridge pickup is remarkably versatile, allowing for classic Tele tones and so much more. No wonder those aforementioned rock guitar icons reached for these early and often.
As is typically the case with a guitar that's been a stage hound for over 40 years, it's been through some changes. The tuners are reproduction F stamp tuners, it's been refretted, and the original wiring harness had been replaced some time ago. But the bones are there, and the pickups are original. It's perfectly broken in and plays really well thanks to a very nice medium C neck profile.
This Tele Custom is another one of those guitars that begs to keep on working.
