Fender Deluxe Reverb (1965)
Vintage
Fewer guitar amps compete for the top spot in legendary fashion than the Deluxe Reverb. A studio and stage staple, it's widely regarded as one of the most recorded amplifiers in modern music history, and remains a go-to option for any player who is looking for that undeniable mid 60s Fender tone. This is simply a great overall example of a mid-year DR from its first full production year of 1965, both in its condition and in its performance. It features all original transformers throughout - ranging from the 9th to 26th weeks of 1965 - and even has its original Jensen C12Q speaker!
We enlisted one of Boston's best amp techs, Stan Day, to handle its servicing needs. Suffice it to say, it didn't need much! Stan performed a routine recap and replaced the power cord with a fresh 3-prong for safe usage, and the amp is working and sounding great!
**Please Note: All vintage amplifiers - regardless of service history - contain electronic components that will eventually require replacement or repair. This is often unpredictable and should be expected as a vintage amplifier owner. We are not responsible for additional service upon receipt.**
