The Fender Custom Shop 1967 Jazzmaster delivers vintage offset style with modern playability.
This Fender Custom Shop 1967 Jazzmaster brings timeless offset style to the modern player. Finished in a beautifully aged Lake Placid Blue lacquer (w/matching headstock - always a winner in our book), this Jazzmaster pairs a two-piece select alder body with a plain grain maple neck and a round-laminated rosewood fingerboard featuring striking poly pearloid block inlays. I mean, come on right? Beautiful stuff!
Under the hood, Custom Shop hand-wound flat pole Jazzmaster pickups and vintage wiring deliver the crystalline highs, sweet mids, and warm lows that define this model’s signature tone. The cleans are simple gorgeous, almost like a fatter/fuller sounding Strat, and the overdriven tones are beautifully lo-fi.
A floating tremolo and RSD Jazzmaster bridge (absolutely one of our fave bridges for this style of guitar) provide classic offset feel with improved tuning stability and just a touch of Telecaster twang, making this Jazzmaster a lot more versatile than a non-RSD equipped Jazzmaster.
Additional features include a '62-style "C" neck, 9.5" radius, 6105 narrow tall frets, 3-way switching, and a 3-ply parchment pickguard. Complete with a deluxe hardshell case, strap, and certificate of authenticity, this Custom Shop Jazzmaster is an inspired blend of vintage soul and modern reliability.
