Product information

Fender's Reverb Unit is as ubiquitous as their amplifiers, delivering an iconic sound that has reverberated through decades of popular music

This 1962 Fender 6G15 Reverb Unit represents the second iteration of Leo's famed outboard reverb. Initially offered to accompany the Blonde Fender amps like the Bassman, Bandmaster, Twin, and Tremolux, it followed through all of the production changes in the 1960s without really changing itself.

These units often have a more lush and swirly tone compared to the reverb circuitry you'll find in the 'Blackface' era combos of the day. Paired up with a Tweed, Brown, or Blonde non-reverb Fender, and you've got some of the best tones available from Fender's Golden Era.

This Brown tolexed version was built in mid 1962 and has survived in wonderful original condition. It's had its handle replaced and a recent requisite service, but otherwise remains original. It even includes its original Victoria slipcover!

**Please Note: All vintage amplifiers and effects - regardless of service history - contain electronic components that will eventually require replacement or repair. This is often unpredictable and should be expected as a vintage amplifier owner. We are not responsible for additional service upon receipt. We also do not guarantee tube life.**
