The legendary Fender low-watt Tweed combo in near time-capsule condition.

Why We Love This

Just when we thought we wouldn't see another Tweed Champ as clean as the one we posted back in January 2023, this little beauty shows up!

This 1958 Fender F51 Champ in fantastic original condition, and is certainly one of the best representations of the classic student model combo we've come across, both aesthetically and tonally. Thanks to a proper recap and installation of a new Weber 8" Alnico Signature speaker, it's sounding as good as we've ever heard one!

The original tweed covering has remained in excellent condition with very little signs of age. Just some light fraying on the corners and prominent contact spots! The grill cloth is also nice and clean. Where it gets borderline absurd in terms of cleanliness, however, is inside the amp. The chassis looks as though it left the factory just a few days ago! Impeccably clean faceplate with no fading of the silkscreening. The original tube chart looks factory fresh as well. It even still rocks its original two-prong power cord!

Teetering between collector-grade and the perfect player, it's got everything you want in a proper Tweed era Fender amp.
Condition: Vintage. Fully inspected and set up by TME staff before it ships or leaves the showroom.
