Very rare Gibson-made Epiphone with long scale and maple back and sides. No, it's not a Dove, but close...

1967, the Summer of Love! Gibson may have been slow to lose the Western/Cowboy theme on its guitars as evidenced by this Frontier's pickguard. But it still has that quintessential 1960's dry, chunky acoustic tone that is sure to awaken those feelings of nostalgia for those innocent times.

This FT-110 is super clean. The bridge has been replaced as the original would have been the rather clunky adjustable-saddle style. The addition of a drop-in bone saddle and a very nice replica rosewood bridge makes this an even better sounding guitar than the original. There is some evidence that the back of the neck was refinished but there are no cracks or repairs to disclose there. It had a very recent refret by Laurent Brondel.

The nut is a little on the narrow side but still feels great thanks to its comfy C-shape carve. We've often said that if the guitar has The Tone, you'll adjust to the neck. This guitar has loads of tone and vibe to forget about the nut width:-)
