The Memory Lane name, redesigned. Four modes that take you from a quick slapback to ambient washes you could get lost in.

The Memory Lane name has been associated with warm, musical delay for years, and this redesigned version is built to keep that voice while solving the things analog delays have always traded away - limited delay time, drifting calibration, and a noise floor that climbs as you push the repeats.

At the center is Diamond's digital bucket-brigade design. It's a system that pairs a digital delay line with the analog companding, filtering, and feedback path of a true BBD circuit. The goal is the warmth and dimensionality of analog repeats without the ceiling: up to 2.4 seconds of delay time, a lower noise floor, and repeats that hold their character as they decay rather than degrading into mud.

The four delay modes is where the pedal's range lives:

1. MLjr: a fixed-rate delay with silent tempo changes, voiced after the Memory Lane Jr. The classic Memory Lane sound for slapback and shorter rhythmic work.

2. Vintage: warm, saturated repeats that lean into the soul of vintage analog delay, where each echo softens and colors as it fades.

3. Galloping 2-Head: a rhythmic dual-head pattern inspired by the Counterpoint delay, for the syncopated, driving echo that sits as a part rather than a wash.

4. Ambient 3-Head: cascading, expansive repeats for layered soundscapes and longer ambient textures.

The compander, anti-aliasing filters, and analog feedback path are doing the work underneath all four, adding smooth compression on the repeats, warmth in the voicing, harmonic richness in the trails.

There is also tap tempo with three subdivisions - quarter, dotted-eighth, and half note, each with its own LED color so you know what you're on at a glance. Holding the tap footswitch engages the Doubler, which seamlessly doubles your delay time; it can be set momentary for a quick burst or latching for a locked-in groove.

This Memory Lane is powered by an STM32 ARM Cortex processor, with improved headroom and an extended delay range over the original. Top-mounted jacks, buffered bypass with trails, 9–15VDC operation with over-voltage protection. Compact enough for a crowded board.
