A clean boost and a flexible tilt EQ in one box, with a second mode that adds a touch of transparent low-gain grit when you want it.

The idea behind the Boost/EQ goes back to the early 2000s. Players kept asking Diamond for a version of the Compressor with the Tilt EQ, but without the compression. Nearly twenty years later, that idea finally got built on the same platform as the current Comp/EQ.

The Boost/EQ uses the same lively, high-fidelity gain stages as the Comp/EQ, so you get real punch and output without the boost coloring or congesting your tone. It stays clear and transparent as you push it. Think: boost that makes your existing sound bigger rather than different.

The EQ, with a center-detent tilt control, shifts your tonal balance smoothly from darker to brighter. Dial in sparkle for clean parts, roll it back to tame a bright amp. The dedicated mid control adds the other dimension: push the mids to cut through on a solo, or scoop them when you want to sit back. Together they give you enough range to do things like nudge a Marshall-voiced rig toward Fender territory without swapping anything.

A second overdrive mode adds a low-gain overdrive that's transparent, but with genuine character. Not a high-gain box; more the kind of light grit that thickens a clean amp or adds an edge to a solo. It means the pedal does clean boost, tone-shaping, and a touch of dirt without you reaching for a second pedal.

All-analog Burr-Brown audio path, low-noise design, top-mounted jacks, and relay-based true bypass - the same modern, quiet platform as the rest of the current Diamond line.
