Description
A couple of strums on this pristine 1989 Martin D-41LE and you'd be hard-pressed not to fall in love. It's got that brilliant, clear, clean Martin tone that one only hears in a certain number of dread's. Built in very limited quantity (31) to commemorate the original number of D-41's made in 1969, Martin used exceptional materials to capture that special vintage tone. Master grade Engleman spruce and Brazilian rosewood make up the body with 1/4" forward-shifted (1" from soundhole) scalloped bracing. The fingerboard has colorful abalone hex inlays, with beautiful pearl top and peghead (!) border. The condition is excellent with virtually no wear, scratches or dings to speak of. The action is perfect with saddle height to spare. This one is ready for its next owner to cherish and adore and show off!
