This 002H has been supercharged with a fantastic sounding Spruce top that's been graded at the highest level of responsiveness.

We continue to be blow away by the Q-top Collings's guitars we've received. This is a terrific sounding 00 that is very comfortable and responsive to play, but punches well above its size when it comes to volume. You'd be forgiven for hearing this guitar and thinking the sound was coming from something much larger.

The Q-top wonderfully enhances the dynamic and detailed Collings sound. It feels as though there is just a little bit extra going on more dynamic range, more volume, and more responsiveness. It's a small upgrade that makes a big difference.

What's a Q Top? We could bore you with a diatribe about parametric equalizers, tap tones, etc. But suffice it to say: Q Tops have been tested by the sawyers at Pacific Rim Tonewoods, and have been found to have the lowest level of acoustic damping of all the wood in their inventory. Low damping typically equates to increased resonance and responsiveness, alongside all the other qualities we look for in a great instrument (sustain, lushness, complexity of sound).
