This gorgeous Larson Brothers-style Euphonon Jumbo from luthiers Rudie Blazer & Willi Henkes has just come in for consignment! At first glance, we admit to a bit of nostalgia: seeing this guitar reminds us of the time when we were B&H dealers and looked forward to our annual delivery with great anticipation! Blazer & Henkes' reputation for excellence is well-warranted. This guitar is masterfully well-made (dare we say better than its blueprint?); and its dry, powerfully direct midrange is the sort of thing one usually only hears in a vintage guitar. True to form, this guitar features a laminated X brace and radiused top (hallmarks of the Larson style). The back and sides are Birdseye Maple, which increases its volume and clarity relative to other specimens of the model. In short, a great-sounding, super-powerful guitar well-suited to all styles of traditional music and playing styles (it takes very well to a flatpick, and handles aggressive fingerpicking well too).
Condition: excellent. This guitar bears only the faintest signs of prior ownership and use -- though its finish is extremely thin and will show minor wear easily. There are no significant cosmetic blemishes, and the frets show almost no wear. Priced with hardshell case. On consignment; shipping calculated at checkout.
